This is an informal meeting to discuss sustainable business networking in the region.

Learning to go green and local:

What are businesses doing now, what sort of networking and education would be valuable, what resources are available or need to be developed?

We'll discuss a statewide chapter affiliation with the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (www.livingeconomies.org), other resources for community green business learning, and review some of the many great efforts underway in the region to support green business practices and the transition to a sustainable economy.

This is in part a place for discussing outreach and networking with the upcoming Bluegrass Energy and Green Living Expo, October 14 and 15 (see http://www.bluegrassenergyexpo.org/) -- and Kudos for the great work the Expo is doing!

We'll probably have another meeting prior to or during the expo to continue the discussion.
